Equipment Rental Agreement — G-Pop's Events & Creations

Rental Duration Policy:
🕐 Snack machines (Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Snow Cone) are rented in 4-hour blocks and must be returned by the agreed time on the event date.
📅 Tents & Coolers are rented per day and must be returned by close of business the following day unless otherwise agreed in writing.
🎯 Yard games (Giant Jenga, Connect 4 Combo, Cornhole) are rented per event and must be returned by end of the event day. $25 deposit per game set — fully refundable upon return in original condition.
🎬 Movie Night rentals (Package, Full Experience, or Screen-Only) are rented per event. Equipment is delivered and set up by G-Pop's and picked up at the agreed end time. Deposit is fully refundable upon return of all equipment in working condition.
🍹 Frozen Drink Machines (Margaritaville single & 3-pitcher, Fiesta Bundle) are rented in 4-hour blocks. BYO alcohol — G-Pop's supplies the machine and (in the Fiesta Bundle) non-alcoholic mix only. See Section 4 below for full alcohol-service terms.
🧃 VEVOR 4L Slushie Machine is rented as an all-day rental (drop-off → next-morning pickup) and requires a 1–3 hour pre-chill from liquid to slush. BYO non-alcoholic mix only — alcoholic beverages are not permitted in this machine. The VEVOR's compressor-refrigeration system is not designed to freeze alcohol; using alcoholic mixes will prevent the machine from reaching slush consistency, may damage the compressor, and will result in full deposit forfeit plus repair/replacement cost. Section 4 (Alcohol Service) does not apply to the VEVOR.

Your deposit will be fully refunded provided all of the following conditions are met:

Renter's Responsibility

The customer is fully responsible for any damage or loss of rented equipment during the rental period.

G-Pop's Coverage

G-Pop's Events & Creations carries general liability insurance. However, this does not cover renter-caused damage or loss.

Tip We strongly recommend adding short-term event coverage for extra peace of mind. Providers like State Farm or Progressive offer single-day event policies — typically just $20–$50 for the day.

This section applies only if you are renting a Margaritaville Single-Pitcher, 3-Pitcher Party Machine, or Fiesta Bundle. Please read and initial each item.

What G-Pop's Provides

G-Pop's Events & Creations rents the equipment only (and, with the Fiesta Bundle, non-alcoholic mix packets, cups, and a salt rim kit). G-Pop's does not sell, supply, serve, or recommend any alcoholic beverage. Any alcohol used in the machine is supplied entirely by the Renter.

Renter Assumes Full Responsibility

The Renter is solely and fully responsible for: (a) all alcohol added to the machine, (b) who is served and in what quantity, (c) compliance with all federal, state (Connecticut), and local laws regarding alcohol service, (d) any over-service, intoxication, injury, property damage, or third-party claims that arise from consumption of beverages dispensed from the rented equipment.

⚠️ Age Restriction

The Renter agrees that no alcoholic beverage from the machine will be served to or consumed by anyone under 21 years of age. A sober adult (21+) must supervise the machine at all times while alcohol is in use; the machine may not be left unattended at any public event.

Hold Harmless & Indemnification

Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless G-Pop's Events & Creations, its owners, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, lawsuits, fines, or losses (including attorneys' fees) arising from the Renter's use, misuse, or service of alcoholic beverages from the rented equipment.

Safe Operation

Renter acknowledges receipt of the Equipment Care & Safety Guide and agrees to: never run the machine dry, use cube ice only, plug into a grounded GFCI outlet, keep hands and utensils out of the pitcher while operating, and return the machine cleaned per the guide. A $50 cleaning fee applies if returned with dried mix or sticky residue; running the machine dry that damages the motor results in full deposit forfeit plus replacement cost.

By signing below, I confirm that I have read and fully understood all terms in this Equipment Rental Agreement (including the Alcohol Service Acknowledgment above, where applicable), and I agree to be bound by its conditions.
